2018 Housing Choice Voucher Wait List Lottery

Between June 4 and 8th, 2018 the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) received close to 40,000 pre-applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program Wait List Lottery. Thank you to all who completed the application process and who helped to inform the community of this opportunity.

From those that applied, 10,000 pre-applicants have been randomly selected by a lottery to be placed on the wait list. The 10,000 selected pre-applicants received a letter notifying them they have been selected for the wait list and provided them with instructions on how to verify receipt of the letter. This verification will ensure that we can continue to contact our customers about status updates on the waiting list.
